Regardless of how you personally feel about money there is no getting away from the fact that it is important!
The more of it you have the more choices you have in life.
It makes you feel secure and even though money alone won’t make you happy, I think you’ll agree that it’s a lot easier to be happy when you don’t have to worry about money.
I once heard a wise man(Kanye West *cough*) say “Money is not everything, not having it is”
Can you imagine if a loved one became seriously ill and needed a very expensive operation or treatment. Do you want to be wasting precious time fund raising and begging off strangers or would you want to be able to pay for it straight away without worrying where the money is coming from?
That’s the kind of power money has…it can save or prolong the lives of the ones closest to you and provide security and safety.
To me I see it as my obligation to make sure I provide the best possible life I can for my family and loved ones. I want to make sure we never have to worry about bills or whether or not we can afford a holiday this year.
I want Marley to have options when he grows up and experience all that life has to offer.
A number of years ago I read the book ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ and while on holiday recently I read it again. If you have not read it yet I highly recommend it.
I have read many books recently on wealth, how to get it and changing your mindset…but this one is one of my favourites.
I am now on a mission to accumulate wealth and assets. Assets that pay for my retirement and provide a inheritance for Marley and Marley’s kids and Marley’s kids kids.
I’ll be posting about the various different paths I’ll be taking along the way to accumulating this wealth and hopefully leave a blueprint for people to follow. A sort of no holes barred and real life guide to wealth creation. Or a guide on how to go broke fast who knows but at least I went for it eh?
So stay tuned and keep checking back.
I promise it will get interesting and you never know there might be opportunities for you to make money along side me.
Here’s to WEALTH, HEALTH and HAPPINESS
