If you’ve read my first posts or seen me chatting on social media or even just read my about section, you will know that I am on a mission to improve my life in all areas…health, wealth, relationships and really begin to live life on my terms.
This whole blog is dedicated to that theme and to share my process with the world. i want to help others do the same thing and hopefully by me documenting my whole process can help lay some sort of real life, no bullshit blueprint.
I guess It also helps me with some accountability as If i have put myself out there and promised certain things then I have to stick to it…I can be held accountable by my readers.
I turned 30 this year and after about 6-7 years of being really inconsistent with working out, I decided now is the time to get focused. I am fully aware that as you get older the harder it is to maintain or develop a good body so I decided before it gets too late and the beer belly develops I am going to get in to the best shape of my life and then just spend time maintaining it.
This brings me on to the topic of this post.
I have decided to take on the challenge of completely resetting my metabolism in just 21 days.
Since January I have been regularly going to the gym (about 3-4times a week depending on where i am with work) so have already made some decent progress in terms of building muscle and lowering my body fat%.
However, no matter how hard I try i just can’t seem to shift the layer of fat that covers my abs. That stubborn belly fat. I know my abs are there i can feel them, they just won’t come out to play.
I heard about this diet from my partner Laura’s step mum, Donna. She is involved with a company that sells nutritional products and so I’ve been told, have a holistic approach to overall wellbeing.

Donna has met a number of these people and shown me photo’s with them so they pics are definitely real and not like these photoshopped fake before and after photo’s like you see everyday on Instagram. Or some celeb that has been paid a fortune to gain loads of weight and then crash diet so she can sell a shit ton of DVD’s.
The fact that the diet has 4 stages and a whole focus on weight and metabolism management after the 21 days is what swayed me to try it out. I don’t fancy doing all this work and finally having the 6 pack I have longed for only for it to disappear as quick as soon as the month is out.
So…in true keeping with the nature of and purpose of this blog I am going to be documenting my whole process from start to finish. Throughout the whole 21 days I will be posting everyday letting you know how i feel, what I have eaten and what exercise I have done. At the end of each week I will post a progress shot so you can see how I am getting on.
