What a long day!
Woke up at 5:30am, set of to Glasgow about 6:30am and got to the office about 11:15am. Left the office around 18:45 and headed back to my hotel.
I managed to get some decent meals in today.
Stopped off for some breakfast on the way up as I was starving by the time 9am came around having been up since 5:30am.
I always stop in the same place when I’m travelling to Glasgow. There’s a services just off the M6 in Cumbria called Tebay. It’s perfect because it’s almost exactly at the half way point on my journey from West Yorkshire.
It’s not like your usual commercial services with MacDonald’s and Greggs and WHSmiths etc. It’s a really nice farm shop type place. Ducks roam freely around the little lake that’s on the side and you can get breakfast cooked from local fresh ingredients. Organic beer and Quayle eggs are just an example of the type of produce you can expect when you stop here.
On top of that there’s a nice seating area outside near the little lake (more of a pond) and the views are amazing. Highly recommend stopping there if you’re ever venturing north of the border
So it was onward from there and on to Glasgow.
Went to the office for a bit and did some prep work for this weekend.
Went for lunch around 14:30 and went to a nice place round the corner on Argyle Street called Jules Cafe
They do the nicest fresh soups, salads and sandwiches. It’s got three floors, first floor where you walk in is like a small shop area where you can get a sandwich and a drink from the fridge. You can then either go upstairs to a seating area or downstairs to the salad bar and other seating area.
The salad bar downstairs has a great selection and there is no chance of you being stuck for options if you are on a diet like me. Only downside is that this 21 Day Metabolism Reset diet is very strict and prohibits a number of stuff in the selections i.e. potatoes, carrots, condiments/dressings, pasta etc
Even so still managed to get something in my salad box and head back to the office
So here’s there break down of what went down today:
6:20am – hCG drops
09:00am – Breakfast
– 1 shallow fried egg
– small portion of beans (i know it’s not really allowed but I was marvin and needed the protein)
– button mushrooms
– pot of black tea
11:30am – Supplements
– 1st half of tablets
14:30 – Lunch
Left my drops in the car so had to wait until later
– Salad from Jules Cafe (mixed leaf, red chilli cous cous, Mediterranean roast veg and chicken)
– Bottle of water
19:00 – Supplements
– 2nd half of tablets
20:00 – Dinner
Forgot to mention..I went to a nice Wok and Go type place not too far from my hotel. Just did your standard noodles or rice boxes with a selection of meats. Luckily for me they had a vegitarian based option
– stir fry veg and chicken breast in a very hot sauce (boc choi, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and some other veg I can’t remember)
And that was that.
Staying at a banging hotel by the way…I’m at the Hilton and the place is niiice! Google it if you want to take a look
